QUICK BANANA BREAD PORRIDGE

Some mornings call for a warm, comforting porridge and this happens to be exactly what we're bringing you today! This preps you for a tough day at work, a busy university schedule or even a day-off back home. Whether you're going to be spending the day in your pj's on the sofa, or hopping from office to office, banana bread porridge is exactly what your body needs to make you feel like the world is yours. Let's get cooking (or microwaving!). 

BAKING TIME: 3 minutes // SERVINGS: 1 // MEAL: BREAKFAST

INGREDIENTS

- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 ripe banana, thinly sliced
- 1tsp cinnamon
- 1tsp peanut butter
- 1tbsp soy yoghurt

STEP-BY-STEP

1. In a small bowl, mix together the oats with the almond milk, 1/2 cup of water, cinnamon and half of your ripe banana. You can either cook the porridge on the stove or in the microwave.
2. On the stove: cook on low to medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until the porridge has thickened. 
    Microwave: 3 minutes on 650W should do the job!
3. Add your toppings: the other half of the banana, granola, peanut butter and as much plantbased yoghurt as you like.
